Many deserving children in the Washington DC Metropolitan area have endured hardships brought on by inflation, unemployment and the advent of COVID-19. CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY

I.M.P.A.C.T – I Make Positive Attempts to Change Teens

I.M.P.A.C.T. hosts an annual Christmas Party for children ages 5 to 15. Our organization holds a party for community children and their families with food and gifts during the holiday season.

At I.M.P.A.C.T., we provide comprehensive and effective services to encourage children to avoid the school to prison pipeline. We identify negative behaviors and how these characteristics could impact the lives of our youth. We work to transform counterproductive actions to positive outcomes and encourage our youth to make better life choices.

The Holidays are a time to express love and generosity. These youths tend to be in low spirits during this time of year and as a result, it could lead them to acting out through destructive behavior.
